World Book Day

The theme for this year’s World Book Day is ‘Read Your Way’. 

This year we are inviting everyone to Read Your Way. 

Read Your Way encourages everyone to let go of reading pressures and expectations, and empowers children and young people to have fun discovering reading on their own terms.

With this in mind, we would like to invite the children to come to school wearing the clothes they love to wear whilst reading…comfy, cosy, pyjamas, onesies, fluffy socks……whatever their go-to reading clothes are! 

We would also like to invite parents to join us for our soft start (8.40 – 9.00am) so you can enjoy some cosy reading with your child. Parents are very welcome to get into the cosy spirit and wear some comfy reading clothes, too!
